- juugonichithe 15th; any regular date (number + nichi)
- juuyokkathe 14th; fourteen days
- hatsukathe 20th; twenty days
- nijuuyokkathe 24th; twenty-four days
- nannichiwhat date; how many days
Mix-ups Hatsuka (20th) vs futsuka (2nd).

Every date not on the irregular list is just the number plus nichi; 17th and 19th use shichi and ku.
