Mix-ups Ichinichi (one day) vs tsuitachi (the 1st).

for ... days (length of time)
Takes the irregular day forms: futsukakan, mikkakan, yokkakan, tookakan; one day is ichinichi, not tsuitachi.
-kan is often dropped: mikka yasunda (took three days off).
mikkakan zutto ame datta.
It rained for three days straight.
三日間ずっと雨だった。

A bit formal; in casual talk people often say nisannichi (two or three days).
suujitsu de naoru tte.
They said it'll heal in a few days.
