Word sets, Stage 2chunk 3 of 21Counters

Lets you say double, a few times, never once, and overnight.

Mix-ups nibai (twice as much) vs nikai (twice); nandoka (a few times) vs nando mo (again and again).

bai

Bai alone means double (bai ni naru = doubles); nibai, sanbai ... = two, three times as much.

Don't mix with -kai: nibai is twice as much, nikai is twice (two times).

The price doubled.

値段が倍になったんだよ。

polite
