Mix-ups Itsu no ma ni is about not noticing; atto iu ma ni is about speed.
tatta ima
just now; this very moment
Stronger than ima: it happened a moment ago.
Often with -ta tokoro (have just done): tatta ima deta tokoro (just left).
tatta ima tsuita tokoro.
I literally just got here.

For time flying or something happening fast, often with -te shimau.
Atto iu ma datta = it flew by.
natsuyasumi, atto iu ma ni owatchatta ne.
Summer break was over in no time.

Surprise that something happened without you noticing.
Add ka for a statement: itsu no ma ni ka nete ita (I fell asleep before I knew it).
