Mix-ups Two pairs that sound alike: anshin / fuan and manzoku / fuman.
anshin suru

Said when a worry lifts; anshin shite (don't worry) reassures someone.
Opposite: fuan (anxious). Hotto suru is a softer 'feel relieved'.

polite fuan desu
anxious; uneasy; anxiety
A nagging worry about what's coming, not sudden fear.
Fuan ni naru = start to worry. Shinpai is worry about a specific thing or person; fuan is a general uneasy feeling.

manzoku suru
polite manzoku shimasu
be satisfied; satisfaction
Being content with a result or situation; also a jab: kore de manzoku? (Happy now?).
Opposite: fuman. Also a na-adjective: manzoku na kekka (a satisfying result).

complaint; dissatisfaction
A grievance you hold; most often fuman ga aru (have a complaint).
Opposite: manzoku. Fumansou na kao = a disgruntled look.
