For a person or thing that isn't like the rest; often fond, sometimes a soft way to say weird.

From kawaru (change); kawatta hito = an odd person. Softer than hen (weird).

open; honest; obedient; straightforward

Takes things as they are without pride or stubbornness: accepts advice, says what they feel.

Sunao ni ureshii = I'm honestly happy. Shoujiki is honest as in not lying.

quiet; well-behaved; gentle

For people and animals that are calm and make no fuss: a shy kid, a gentle dog.

Otonashiku shite! = settle down! (to kids). Shizuka is quiet as in no noise.
